On October 17th, for the last evening of my photo exhibition, The Arctic: Another World? we had a special event in solidarity with the 30 Greenpeace Arctic activists currently being held in detention in Russia, at Brussels’ beautiful Bibliothèque de Laeken, hosted by Greenpeace Belgium and the Ville de Bruxelles.

As well as myself, guest speakers for the evening include Prof. Dr. Philippe Huybrechts of Vrije Universiteit Brussel, member of the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), and Dr. Neil T. M. Hamilton, Senior Political Advisor – Polar at Greenpeace International.

Also: Neil Hamilton and I were interviewed by journalist Alexandre Mineev for Russian newspaper Novaya Gazeta, about the Greenpeace Arctic 30 situation, and I also did an interview for Brussels International a weekly show on TV Brussel.
